If you're NOT staying at an all-inclusive resort, expect meals and drinks to be more expensive than in the US. At a regular hotel/resort you can expect to pay as much as 10 USD for a beer and 18 USD for a cocktail. Many visitors who vacation in The Bahamas go all-inclusive, which includes unlimited food and (alcoholic) beverages.
